City Transports

CABLE RAILWAY: The Cable Railway to Città Alta departs from Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. And to get from Città Alta to Bergamo Bassa (lower town) you may leave from Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe.

LOCAL BUSES: The Bus Line 1 main route is to the Orio Al Serio Airport as well as the OrioCenter shopping mall.
It arrives and departs every few minutes from the Orio Al Serio airport and the Colle Aperto stop in Bergamo’s Città Alta (upper town). It also stops at the railway station and cable railway station in Bergamo Bassa (lower town) as well as other points along the route.

The service is run by ATB, with an information point in Largo Porta Nuova in the Città Bassa.

Airport shuttle & Taxi

SHUTTLE BUS: The shuttle bus departs from Bergamo (Via Furietti 17) direct to Malpensa airport, with intermediate stops at Orio al Serio airport and Monza. (Journey time: 1 hour and 50 minutes.)

CITY TAXI: To get around the city you may use the TAXI service through phone call or UBER via the App.
